Central Valley Robotics has been hard at work planning for the 2016 FIRST LEGO League Season for our teams in the Central California Area.
We thank our coaches for taking our Championship Survey, and after looking through the feedback, the two largest areas of need are:
- Teams would like more pit space for their team
- Teams felt that having the Championship in February greatly extended the season and overburdened teams.
CVR took that feedback to heart and began investigating how we can address these two concerns. We are proud to announce that we are hosting the 2017 FIRST LEGO League Championship and FIRST LEGO League Jr. Expo on January 28th, 2017 at both Alta Sierra Intermediate and Buchanan High School. We hope moving the event to January will help reduce the burden on teams with a shorter season.
We are also expanding the Championship to cover facilities at both the Alta Sierra and Buchanan campuses, which will allow us greater areas for pit space, as well as provide a more exciting FIRST LEGO League Jr. Expo for our teams.
We look forward to providing more information about the new Championship in the coming months!

My school has not paid our registration yet. Is it too late for Jrfll team to register? Is there anything I can do to expedite things?
