Expectations for All Volunteers
Every FIRST LEGO League event is an exciting and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. This page lists some expectations as a volunteer for CVR.
Agendas for Volunteers
Morning Before the Event
Volunteers will have a predetermined meeting space to get settled before the event starts. Most events will have a volunteer lounge with snacks and drinks where you can ask questions and relax before getting started.
In the morning, volunteers will receive their shirts and be given any final instructions for the event day.
During the event day
Things move very fast, so make sure you have taken every opportunity to familiarize yourself with the venue and the flow of the event day.
Event Day Support Roles can expect to be dealing with questions as teams work to get everywhere they need to be on time.
All volunteers can expect a steady interaction with the teams and a healthy dose of the infectious spirit that makes FIRST famous.
All volunteers should be comfortable and acquainted with CVR staff as well as tournament coordinators in order to get any concerns answered during the event day.
After the event
We invite all volunteers to participate in the high-five line to help make sure teams feel as accomplished as possible during the closing ceremonies.
